What is complementary therapy (sometimes referred to as alternative therapy) refers to a diverse range of non-mainstream health practices or products used together with conventional medicine. These treatments are not considered standard care but are intended to supplement, or complement, conventional treatment to improve overall wellness, reduce symptoms like pain or stress, and help patients cope better.

A wonderful find by Hercules on a Saturday during Thanksgiving weekend. After waking up on Saturday morning, Hercules found himself not really able to move or at least comfortably. He knew he needed an adjustment, but it was a weekend and a holiday weekend to boot. Not many chiropractors are open, but luck had its Drs. Markos Family Chiropractic was open, and they were able to see him. Painstakingly Hercules got to their offices and hobbled in being supported with a cane. After a few X-rays and a details adjustment, Hercules was able to stand and walk without the cane or much pain and about two hors after the session, he had no pain. Hercules is largely impressed with doctors focus on the nervous system and that they service a wide range of individuals from infants to older adults. Their availability of X-Rays is an additional bonus to the experience with them. However, their biggest asset they offer is their Doctors Report which is an educational and informative meeting where the Doctors will spend one on one time with you regarding your x-ray findings and individual health plan. Do not miss it. It is a tool for you to use for a lifetime.
